Almost Perfect

I am currently in esthetician school and LED therapy is a rlly awesome treatment! This device has a lot of different light colors which is hard to come by, especially in terms of strength and efficacy. I would caution people to pay attention to the nanometers (nm) specified for each color. In order for LED light to penetrate the skin and provide the intended effect, the light has to be powerful. Clinical research suggests that in order for red light to work, it must have between 640-660 nm. This tool does fall short of those standards but only for the red light. The good news is that all of the other colors are within the range that is supported by the research. Red light is a super versatile component of light therapy so it’s a bummer that this device doesn’t quite meet the mark. However, most LED devices that have a powerful enough red light typically cost several hundred dollars and rarely have more than one color. Overall, this is a great at-home tool to have and really affordable but if you want the benefits of red light, you might want to consider a more powerful (and likely more expensive) device.

Uncomfortable

I purchased this because I had used an LED mask before with tremendous success. The instructions that were sent are not for the product I received and while searching the internet trying to find the manual, I found my “final sale” item was available for significantly less money on multiple sites. I’m left with a product that I’m not 100% on how to use that I paid too much for and one of the buttons on the controller doesn’t work. I thought I may have recourse with the manufacturer but every time I try to register the product the site crashes.
