I purchased this to wear over a sweater/tunic with fabulous feather and pearl sleeves. The body and hem of the sweater are frumpy and do not hang well, but the sleeves are great so I wanted a vest to cover the midsection and flaunt the sleeves, so I chose this. I am so glad I did. This vest is gorgeous! I got it in black and it is rich and deep black with shine but it looks luxe and not faux or cheap. The quilting is subtle and the neck closure is so biker glam. I wear a 16/18 and the XL is nice and roomy. It buttons perfectly with no tugging.
