Puff Sleeve Velvet Jumpsuit

I have been trying to find a classy looking jumpsuit for my mom to wear to a mother daughter dinner with my mom. Nordstrom rack is my go to for quality and style at a reasonable price for clothing to wear for special occasions. That said, this is the 3rd jumpsuit I have ordered that says the inseam is 30 inches or less. This is supposed to have an inseam of 29 inches. It is at least a foot longer than 29 inches. My mom is about 5'5 and I am about 5'6. I normally wear an inseam of 30-31 inches depending on if I want my jeans a bit longer. My mom wears about the same depending. She figured this would work since she will be wearing shoes with a slight heel. I really wish designer's would understand that not everyone is 5'9 or taller and start offering petite sizes again. Not everyone has the convenience or access to a business where they can easily get alterations done if needed to be done by a certain timeline.
