What it does: MAC Prep + Prime Face Protect Lotion SPF 50 is an antioxidant-enriched lotion with a luxurious texture that meets all of your needs to protect skin from broad spectrum UVA/UVB rays and help prevent the appearance of dark spots. The moisturizer absorbs into skin instantly and is comfortable, yet breathable. The non-oily formula generates a soft-focus effect when worn under makeup.
How to use: Apply the SPF primer to skin over your moisturizer. It should be the last step in your skin care regimen and the first step of your makeup application.

Really good preforming sunscreen
This is my go-to face sunscreen.
Pros: outstanding, long lasting sunblock goes on over moisturizer and is a great base for makeup.
Cons: small bottle made out of a fairly hard material. High price for that small bottle.

BRING BACK OLD FORMULA
What has to happen for MAC to listen to its OG customers?! This formula is terrible. The old formula was the HG of primers for us oily girls. If this formula has to stay, fine, just add the other primer back into rotation - literally still waiting for this to come back. I haven't found a replacement in all these years. BRING IT BACK!!!

Half empty bottles
I have religiously used this product since 2008, so I know how much it weighs. I know when I'll run out and I need to reorder. Not only did the price go up, I understand that with inflation. But your customers are putting up with shrinkflation. The bottles have been half empty the last 5-6 bottles I've purchased. I've made the switch to Charlotte Tilbury's spf and Zo.

pairs great with different foundations
I love how it pairs with different makeup products. It’s moisturizing and does its job. A little pricey but that doesn’t stop me from buying it. It’s one of my essentials

Sun protection
This product doesn't leave my skin oily and it's not too thick. I use it everyday under my makeup. I wish it came in a bigger bottle.

Nice but disappointed
I read all the reviews prior to purchasing and had seen the comments in relation to size but decided to try it. Unfortunately, I can confirm, this item is so small for the price and won't last very long. It doesn't have much of a scent and absorbs into the skin really well. Will I buy again? Hmmmmm....not sure
