Sophia Stretch Cotton Ankle Wide Leg Pants

I ordered these in the ivory color (Le Blanc) and loved them at first…cute fit/cut; mostly cotton with a hint of stretch; nice, medium weight fabric. But they did not wash up as well as expected, unfortunately. After a couple of wears, I got a small food stain (tomato sauce) on the front of the pants—the kind of stain that usually comes out easily with a little stain remover and machine washing. That was not the case with these pants, sadly, which, despite repeat treatments with stain remover & washings, soaking in stain remover, etc., refused to give up the stain. [Note: I pretreated & washed immediately in accordance with care instructions and have never machine dried.] In my experience—which, as a wife & mom of two young adults is pretty extensive—this is a sign of subpar, cheap fabric. My advice, if you decide to get these, is (a) be very careful not to get anything on them, and (b) size down if you are between sizes. These pants have a tendency to stretch out/relax some while wearing.
