Beaded Mesh Overlay Cocktail Dress

I opened the dress box and was hit with the overwhelming smell of cigarettes. The dress clearly had been used. There were multiple large snags on the fabric with many areas of missing beads. Under the arms had some staining. Against my better judgement I had to try it on for sizing etc. If in new condition it is a stunning dress. It was not as form fitting or flattering as I had hoped. It does have extra room through the waist which may or may not be flattering depending on one’s body shape The smell of this dress was so overwhelmingly disgusting I had to repackaged and move to the garage as it was spreading through the house.

The dress does have some weight to It on the hanger but not an issue on. It fits like a glove, so I will be looking into shapewear..I’m 5’4” 194lbs. It skins my ankles so will definitely need a pretty shoe. The beading is high quality and the fabric is cut on a bias to stretch where it needs to. I’m big busted and was afraid that would be a problem, because of the fabric, and how it is cut, it’s not a problem. So glad it’s going to work out.

My daughter is getting married and I have been looking for the perfect mother-of-bride dress for the past 6 months. I found this dress online and fell in love with it. It’s actually even more gorgeous in person. I am 4’ 10” and weigh 90 lbs. normally wear a size 0P, but the smallest size this comes in is a 2. I have great seamstress so this did not deter me from making the purchase. My daughter is having her bridal party wear a pink color and this dress is a beautiful compliment color. I love this dress!
