Petra Wedge Sandal

These are absolutely the most uncomfortable, stiff leather sandals that I have ever tried on! Seriously... on sale, they were $149, which is typically a bargain for Aquatalia sandals. I would not wear these if someone gave them to me and paid me to wear them. The leather is so incredibly stiff that it would take 2 years to maybe break them in — the cheapest of the cheap leather. They are being returned!

I purchased both the black and brown pairs of these shoes. Prior to purchase, I read the reviews, in which someone complained about the stiffness of the leather. Glad I didn't let that deter me. These shoes are beautiful! The leather is the kind that becomes more supple with wear. They are very true to size, and the colors are true brown and true black. While I gave the shoes 5 stars, I cannot say the same for delivery. They did not come in boxes but dust bags, and only one dust bag per pairs. This is not the type of leather where you cram two shoes in one dust bag, as they're prone to get scratches. There is no excuse for such fine, expensive shoes not having their own individuals boxes. Shame, shame, shame on you Nordstrom Rack!
