Daphne Flat (Women)

I absolutely love this brand and am very happy that Nordstrom carries it. I wear a size 10 M in open toe sandals and 10.5 M in loafers, and the 10.5 fit me perfectly. I appreciate this brand because they offer a size 10.5. Other brands only offer 10 and 11. These loafers are extremely comfortable. I’m happy with the quality of leather. The shoe is very soft while still holding its shape. The toebox is also not too narrow, stiff, or tight, as I have experienced with other brands. Please bring back this shoe in the camel/tan color.

I have a few pairs of PG shoes and boots that have lasted for years, and which were comfortable and well-fitting from the get-go. These shoes were a disappointment. The fit was loose overall (I am a medium width, and the length was correct, so I had the right size). That was enough to send them back. But but the main problem was the quality of the construction. The top of the forefoot of the left shoe dug into my foot as I walked and flexed my foot. This was just on one shoe. Sometimes the right shoe of a pair that has been tried on many times will be more pliable than the left. But this was not a problem with stiff leather — the leather on these shoes is quite soft “eco leather.” This was the way the shoe was cut and sewn. It was not something that would ease up with wear, I am certain. So, I returned them. If I’d been trying these in the store, I might have tried in a different pair, or a smaller size, but I was not impressed enough to try an exchange. At this price point, shoes should be perfect.
