disappointed
I love all my Birkenstocks but this one was a disappointment. It was very wide and heavy like I’ve to move them with me. The top also wasn’t supportive of your feet. I returned it.

I had to go up a size because of the toe box. I am a true 8.5 and the 39 wouldn't work for me long term, so I purchased the 40 and they are fine with and without socks.
