Quincy Ankle Straight Leg Jeans

I have a lot of trouble finding jeans that fit (waist 36", hips 42") but in a size 31 these fit perfectly--maybe just slightly loose in the waist, just enough to be comfortable with the right amount of give. Because I have a short inseam of 28" they fit more like regular pants than ankle pants, but they look good that way, too. Love the big pockets! I gave them four stars because they cannot go in the dryer and need to be hung to dry. Still, they turn out wrinkle free that way and it probably preserves the fabric better. I bought them on sale since full price is quite high by my standards.

The color first caught my eye in store, I'm a sucker for dark green. Tried on a 29 and 30 (my usual Paige denim sizes), and the 30 felt more comfortable. Brought them home and realized the many, many options as far as top/shoe combos. Took them to London a week later and wore them at least four times during the 10-day trip and they didn't stretch out (hung them up after wearing). I took my Mephisto black/gray sneakers, New Balance (gray/white) 574's, and Birkenstock black Mary-Janes and they all look terrific with these pants. They were comfortable when we were walking around all day and also on long car rides. I even considered them for the almost 10-hour flight home. Yes, they're that comfortable!! These were a great buy for me and I hope new colors will be released soon.
