Olavey Kitten Heel Sandal

First off, let me say I LOVE the way these shoes look. I bought them to wear on a 10 day trip to France for evenings out. I wore them at home for a short time and they were sooo comfortable - the footbed was amazingly cushiony and the uppers didn’t rub - or so I thought. I loved them so much I decided to wear them on my first day in Paris. Big, big mistake. They were fine for the first hour or two. In fact, so comfortable that I almost ordered another backup pair right then and there. However, the clear plastic began rubbing near the bottom area in my big toe on each foot. The footbed, however, was still comfortable. Much later, back at the hotel I took them off and saw no blisters but red broken skin lines at the area where rubbing occurred. Long story short - This happened on September 1. I never put the shoes on again. The thick scabs didn’t come off on their own until September 16. So sad - I loved these shoes but they didn’t love me back. I loved them so much I’m wondering if any of the other offerings that are NOT clear plastic uppers would work ok.

These shoes are cute, but if you care for your bones, do not buy them. They are very slippery. I had to return them.

Comfortable, classy, understated. Elongates the leg. compliments any outfit. Purchased neutral clear.
