Grear find!
I wanted versatile, high cotton content, light color jeans, & these deliver! With long legs, I have a tough time getting jeans long enough, but these are… & the fabric is stiff enough to cuff if I want shorter. The straight leg fits well, not baggy at all, & is a classic that easily dresses up or down. In true NYDJ style, they are a generous fit. I’m usually 14 but recently added a few lbs, so am going up to 16. Got 12, & they’re a teensy bit tight for my current size, but they stretch as I wear. Pretty perfect!

Too small for NYDJ
Advice is to size down for NYDJ because of stretching during wear. These jeans are true to size, no need to size down. I should have ordered my regular size. I guess that is why they were on sale at a price too good to be true.

Inconsistent Sizing-Length
I am a tall girl (5’9”) and first purchased these jeans in the light color (Haley). I loved them so much that I turned around and purchased the darker color (Rinse). Imagine my surprise when the darker color was 6 inches shorter than the lighter jeans! I have to return as I didn’t want jeans that were above my ankles (26 inch inseam vs 32 in inseam as advertised). Also, it’s obvious these jeans were already previously returned.

Conflicting information
NYDJ Said to order size down and they were a size too small. Customer reviews said true to size. Since I wear this brand I went with company recommendation.

Something's changed...
I used to like this brand and style. The pair I purchased recently fits okay, but the fabric is different. Even on someone thin, the jeans feel like a girdle - heavy and very restrictive. Maybe it's the addition of Lycra to the fabric - not sure - but I really don't like the jeans. It's frustrating that so many clothiers are changing their fabrics, sizing, countries of production. It's a very unreliable situation and discourages brand loyalty.
