I hate buying jeans, every company has different fabric, cut, etc so I took 7 pairs in the fitting room, all in the 30-32 range and these felt the most comfortable and natural.
I can't speak yet on longevity, but so far, so good.

Quality is terrible
I normally wear a 6 or 8 but sometimes 4. I bought an 8 since reviewer said they run small. Trust the manufacturer, they run large. I also don't like the feel of this denium. I have never had jeans feel like this before. I should have sent them back. Over the next two months I wore these jeans 2x. When sorting for the laundry, I noticed the waist band is no longer attached in several places. They were never washed!! Please wash and examine these long before the return window expires. I do not recommend these jeans and regret this purchase. I will add a photo when I get home.

I bought 3 pairs of black Marilyn straight jeans size 6. Both the blue jeans fit great but all the black jeans were too tight. I reordered these in an 8 because I love NYDJ jeans. Some run big but some don’t, not sure why.

These were huge on me.
So I always get a 27 waste jeans, I would think a 4 would be smaller. These were 2-3 sizes bigger???

The black everything sticks to it. Not a true denim fabric. It was awful wore once and everything in the air around you is drawn to these like glue. Horrid. Threw them out after 1 wear. Never get the black
