Sparkles and Softness!
I didn't know what to expect of this sweater - metallic threads can be hard and scratchy but alpaca is one of the softest fibers, ever. The softness of the alpaca is immediately noticeable AND the sparkles are much more prominent in person than the app/website photos show. It's not a flashy sparkle, but if you like a bit of bling, you will love this. Sweater is almost chunky and has some heft and weight to it so I would not call this a transitional sweater. Alpaca (for me at least) is a breathable wool, and the v-neck will keep me from getting too hot. I found that this does run large and had to return my standard size for the next one down.
