Rib Wool Blend Sweater

I loved this sweater at first. Fit is perfect. After second wear, though, it was pilling terribly across the chest. I felt this was way too soon for it to be pilling already. "merino" used to mean decent quality, but, like everything else these days, the quality is being sacrificed for the money. Maybe worth half the full price, if even that. Disappointed in the "Nordstrom" brand, where it used to be a reliable quality for the price. No more.

The reason that others are downrating this top is the reason I am giving it 5 stars. I am a long-waisted 5’8” with long arms, and so many tops these days look like crop tops on me. I was so thrilled to find one that fits me comfortably with sleeves that go past my wrists! I plan to buy it in every color. Thank you Nordstrom!

The material is very soft and the color is beautiful — exactly what I was hoping for. Unfortunately, the fit just isn’t right for me. The sleeves are quite long and bunch up awkwardly, and the torso is also longer than expected (for reference, I’m 5’4”). Because of the higher price point, I’m not interested in altering it. Great quality overall, but I’d recommend this sweater for someone taller or with longer arms.
