Textured Satin Bias Maxi Skirt

This skirt is the perfect length and color for my Mother of the Groom ensemble. It is fully lined, the material is a sturdy weight (not at all see through) and since it’s cut on the bias, it drapes beautifully and is very forgiving. Size Medium in Beige Rainy Day was sold out, so I bought a size Large and will have it taken in a bit at Nordstrom Alterations. I am so happy to have found this!

I tried on in store and ending up buying two! It’s a great fit and material but definitely recommend sizing down. I typically wear a size 10/12 (large) but preferred the fit of the medium. Plenty of room in hips and waist fit perfectly. I’m 5’5” and this fits a little longer than a standard midi skirt. Quality and fit is beautiful.

This skirt will look good on anyone! It’s double lined so you don’t have to worry about insecure belly/leg areas. The waist band is incredibly comfortable for all day wear. The slightly small downside is the length if you’re short like me (5’1”) but I just hike it up a little higher and it still looks good. Now own this skirt in two colors.

I love this skirt. It is not baggy or frumpy looking. This skirt is not clingy, it is nicely fitted around the hips. I am 5ft 3 and it hits around the ankles. This should look great with boots in the winter and sandals in the spring. The floral printed satin is transitional. Why this picture is of the lining is beyond me.
