First, to address the concern of another reviewer. There is no cinch or buckle like most hats have. There are two strips of the same fabric as the crown, tied in a simple knot with the ends tied into a bow — exactly like a shoe is tied. If you have difficulty, injury or arthritis, surely someone will help out. Just ask them to tie it like a shoe. If all else fails a double knot would work and still look cute. I purchased both pink and white. Nice crisp looks in an interesting fabric with some body probably achieved by the embossing process. There is no fabric content but I would guess it is a nylon or poly blend. Vented (small stitched holes) around the top of the crown. It probably doesn’t have much breathability, but if you aren’t outside too long or wearing to drive you should find it works nicely for you.
