Poor fit and shallow pockets
Already mentioned by other reviewers, but I'm returning these pants due to very tight fit for 32 waist (so order up a size is correct) and also front pockets so shallow that I'd be worried about putting keys and other stuff in pocket

Size up, beware of shallow pockets
Quality seems good, but definitely runs small. I normally buy 36x30 and they were WAY too small. 38x30 was a better fit, but thanks to another review, I noticed that the pockets are very shallow. Ultimately I returned these and got some pants from another retailer. The “athletic fit non-iron chinos” I got in 2022 were a much better product, I hope those come back some time soon.

Nordstrom Classic SmartCare Chino Pants, size 35 w
Prefer Nordstrom classic fit chino pants, but have been unable to locate them recently. Looking for size 35 waist, 30 length black. The heron taper leg twill chino pants, size 35 did not fit as well as the classic fit. Consequently, returned them. Will keep looking, hoping that Nordstrom restocks Classic Fit chino.

Overall pretty nice
Pants run a bit small (I sized up waist and length 1 size). Pockets are shallow. Other than that, nice quality pants.

Slight flaw.
Great pants overall. My only complaint is that the front pockets are too shallow. They need to be about an inch deeper. Otherwise, the fit and look are great, and the pants are a terrific value.
