sizing is off
I almost got my 9 year old avg to thin son a L since he’s tall but the M said 10-12 which sounded large so I got him a sweater and matching pants. While the pants are OK (fitted but not small), the sweater is tiny. Exchanging for a L.

Size UP!
Definitely runs small. My son just turned 13 and I bought the size medium at first as he’s a small 13yo and typically fits 10-12. I had to reorder it in a size large, which states 14-16. There is no way it would remotely fit my 16yo , and he’s thin and on the shorter side as well. Depending on the size of your kid, you’d have to size up one at the very least and possibly 2 sizes up. I also wouldn’t pay regular price for these hoodies. But for the Anniversary Sale price, it’s fine. Very basic. Nothing special. You’re just paying for the logo/label of course. But my kid likes Nike so.
