Autumn Leaves Maxi Skirt

I’m 5 feet 5 and 104 pounds. I sized up to small because the pleats hung much nicer/smoother and flatter. My hips are only 33 inches but this skirt looked puffy and made me look fat in my usual size extra small. The waistband still fits nicely and is very stretchy and comfortable. Nice pockets. I have very long legs 34 inseam and this skirt falls just above my ankles after wash and dry. It looks fine without ironing but if you want a smooth look at the hips you may want to press the pleats in with an iron. I will be doing that. Looks nicer. Well made. Didn’t fade. Didn’t shrink.

I kept this skirt in my cart for a while and kept thinking about it, but I am truly happy that I got it after all. The material is great quality, the print is beautiful, pockets are always a plus for me, and I love how forgiving/ flattering it fits to my body shape. It is a bit longer than I expected for my 5’3” frame, and I might shorten it only because I do like my midi skirts mid calf, and this one falls a bit lower. I am a size 8 and M fits really well, on the comfortable side.
