shoes damaged in first wear
I bought my 4 year old these shoes, and the toe leather came up from the shoe. I called customer care, and since it is before the 45 days, I can return the shoes. I am very disappointed. Bought these shoes for every day wear for the year, and they didn't make it a day!

In a pinch
These were purchased for my son who had a sudden growth spurt. I didn't read that the lace is a cord and not a true lace. Since my child can't cinch the lace to better fit his foot he said when he runs his shoes do not stay on. Hopefully, he will have another growth spurt. I wouldn't purchase these again only for that reason. Most parents will purchase a half size up to make the most of their resources. This shoe is really a lifestyle option. Otherwise, it's been a durable shoe.

Cannot find a pair that fits
I ordered three different sizes for my son, and not one of them would stay on, I think the bungee is just too loose. We went bigger and the same and smaller than his current shoe. He slipped out of all three, even when his toes were smooshed in the size smaller! Bummer!
