Not the same shoe
have had botched foot surgery, and now require a WIDE width. The only shoe that fits the bill
after trying a bunch is the New Balance Fresh Foam 480. I have had 5 pair, which I have bought online and in the store. Some of these have worn out and been retired. This most recent order is NOT the same shoe. I can barely squeeze my injured foot into it, and if I do, it is so tight I have to remove that shoe after a bit. It actually makes my foot and toes go numb. I cannot tell you how upsetting this is, because I have such an awful time finding comfortable shoes these days. Now, I am not sure if I should order again, or move on to a different brand. Even though they hurt me, I have worn them a few times a cannot return them. I swap them back and forth with an old pair of another brand .
I thought you should know. I am still debating trying this same shoe once more. I guess my recent ones are going in the donation box. An expensive donation!!!
