Wedge Espadrille Sandal (Women)

I am a size 10 but I like a little more length in a sandal sometimes so I sized up. Honestly I think these run a little small because I received an 11 and they were not even 1/2 size too long. If you're a true size 11 I think some of your toes or heel are going to hang off the edge of the shoe. It can be done I suppose, but I would not favor that look. With that said, I have plenty of room in the full shoe length, but the arch length is weirdly short. I put my foot in and even though I have a fairly low arch - and an arch that is shorter than a size 11 - there was a huge gap between my arch and the shoe so there's no way I could be comfortable in these. To find out about the arch length I slid my foot back until it was pressed hard against the ankle strap and still could not get enough arch under my foot for it to be supported. At this position my heels were so far back that my toes were not visible through the open toe area - that's how far back my feet were, and still the arch of the shoe did not reach the arch area of my foot. And like I said - I have a pretty low arch so it doesn't take much for me to feel supported. I know from using the Brannock device that it is possible for someone to have a long arch and short toe box length. Or a balanced length of arch to toe box - which my feet have, or a short arch compared to a longer toe box length. I would say this shoe is definitely for someone who has that shorter arch and longer toe box.
