Fantastic basic for wide feet
I bought these for work in hopes that they would replace a couple other black work shoes that are not wide and squeeze my feet. I bought the 8.5 wide and I am super happy with them. The left one is rubbing across the top of my foot a tiny bit, but I have only worn them for two days so I feel that will break in over time. Overall, they are super comfortable, even when taking fairly long walks across campus, and go with so many of my outfits.

Soft, supple, comfortable right out of the box
I have been on the hunt for a simple comfortable black leather loafer...not easy to find to begin with. I wear 8.5 wide...another problem. I tried SAS, Borg, Eastland and Samuel Hubbard...not able to find one that I liked or that fit.
These are amazing!!! Soft, supple, comfortable right out of the box. Do not cut across the top of the foot like some shoes do when you walk.
Also a wide is a wide...many other brands wides are too tight.
I would buy them in Navy also if they had them.

Beautiful shoe
Shoe is beautiful. I took a half size smaller than my usual size. I put the shoes on in my house and within a few minutes the leather on top started to develope creases. Not sure if I will keep the shoes or return them. disapointed.
