Perfect for any walking surface
I wore this shoe (in the smooth black leather) for two weeks on a trip that included forest paths, cobblestones, and jagged sidewalks in cities. They were uniformly comfortable, steady, and appropriate looking in all environments. I have high arches and narrow heels, and for me the shoes always felt secure and comfy. I usually (but not always) wore socks, so I did get a half-size larger (8B), but even when I didn't wear socks, they were secure and comfortable. Highly recommend!

tight toe box
The red is beautiful, more of a wine than red though. The shoe seems well made, and it is light. The problem, and it is a big one, is that the toe box is small. I purchased a medium width even though I usually get a narrow. The medium was fine in the heel and way too tight in the toe.

wrong color
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shoe looked more red online. In actuality it was burgundy. Liked the shoe, but shoemaker said it could not be made more red. So I returned it.

Love Munros
I've worn Munros exclusively for years now. I have narrow feet and heels. They fit perfectly and this is the second pair of my side zip Napolis. I can slip into these and spend that first day comfortably on my feet all day.
