these stretch
I am a sold size 26 in AG jeans. My friends swear by mother so I thought I’d give them a try. I was warned they stretch.
When I first tried these on in a 26 I thought- wow these are tight. I really should go up a size. Then I remembered the “these stretch“ warning. I wore these for about 3 hours and they are now a perfect fit. These are not baggy at all, and fit just like the picture- now that I’ve worn them a bit. If you can’t breathe when you put them on, go up a size. If they are tight but you’re questioning whether to go up- don’t!

Sizing is off
Unfortunately the sizing is off once again. Love Mother jeans when you can find a pair that fits right but the sizing is inconsistent unfortunately. Ordered a size 23 and they would have worked but there was way too much fabric in the crotch area. Very strange.

Great vintage feel denim
These are wonderful jeans if you don’t need any stretch. I found them to be at least 2 sizes too small for me. I usually wear 30 in Mother but could barely pull these up and no way were they going to zip

Unless you want these to be super baggy, do not size up. They aren’t meant to be baggy, but I know that’s the style. I like tighter jeans because I have a long torso and short legs. Yes they are tight at first. That’s because they’re made with more real denim than stretch. But then they do stretch out as you wear them. Normally I’d wear a 28, but I ordered a 29 because of the reviews and now they’re falling off me. I. Can’t exchange them because there are no more 28s. Yes, these are more mid-rise than high rise. Maybe I can have them taken in at a nordstrom store. For reference, I’m 5ft 8in, 145 pounds.

Fit is Off
Gave these four stars simply because I got them for around 60% off. However, if I paid full price, they’d be going back. They are mid-rise at best and run two sizes too small! Hardly any stretch, but decent enough to keep at the $112 price point.
