Fray Hem Bootcut Jeans

These are a little thinner jean material. I wanted more of a heavier jean; these are the thinner material and were darker than the photo as well as a little loose in areas they should be tight. I ordered online and you can never tell. Not my favorite fit and looked slightly old lady in my opinion. Definitely soft and comfortable material though. Just not for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would have given 5 stars, but color is a lot darker than picture. Undecided if I want to return since I have another pair of Mothers nearly the same color. I thought these would be a regular blue Jean color but it’s an indigo. It’s very dark odd blue. I love the fit though. I purchased a pair of the petite/Lil jeans, but shrunk n the dryer. So I purchased regular and after a wash they will be perfect. They are stretchy, so I sized down one size.

I randomly tried these on in store and was shocked they fit me perfectly. If you are short, you know the struggle. These really should be marketed as petite jeans. I'm 5'3" with about a 29" inseam and these jeans are floor-grazing with flat shoes (sneakers/loafers/etc). The dark wash looks really nice with this style (a not too dramatic flare) and the material is very comfy and stretchy. I went with my usual size and find they fit true to size, but I am not curvy.

I was surprised at how cheap this pair of jeans not only looked, but felt. After owning several Mother jeans, I am shocked at how bad these are. They feel like cheap, jegging, Walmart jeans. I bought them in the white and dark wash, both equally fit and looked the same. What is happening to this beloved brand?? Will be returning both pairs and very tentative about buying more of this brand of jean.
