Mock Neck Puff Sleeve A-Line Midi Dress

I was so excited to get this dress, but quite disappointed when I did. The bodice is longer than pictured on the model, so the hip gathers hit at an awkward length instead on at the waist ( I collaged my picture and the listing pic together to directly compare). The neckline is also quite odd looking; it's like peeking out of a turtle shell. Also, I followed the size guide and ordered the correct size according to my measurements, but it was about an inch loose around my torso. Overall, a lovely-looking dress online, but completely unflattering in person.

It’s beautiful on model. The torso fits tight, so I know I got right size. But the flowy layer bodice is meant for people who don’t have hips / are a rod. If you have hips, then the dress - which makes you look slender on side angle - makes you look awkwardly bigger front facing. Had to return :(
