Not for me
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve tried other hair glazes that worked well with my coils but the Mielle hair glaze just didn’t work for me. It didn’t mix well with my leave ins, and when I tried it by itself it did absolutely nothing to form curls when raking it through. I really didn’t like the way this product felt in my hair. It smells nice but I wouldn’t purchase it in the future.

Defined but dry
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My curled were more defined after using this product but unfortunately it was still pretty drying. It wasn’t overly crunchy when it dried but it was a bit stiff, which I don’t prefer. I’m not sure that I could use this product without a lot of added moisture.

Held curls but not drying for a gel like product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hair is very curly. This help keep my curls in shape. I was able to test this in Las Vegas in June and DC in July. I can say this held up very well in the dry Vegas heat and pretty well in humid heat.

My new holy grail!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im currently in love with the new Mielle Kalahari Melon & Aloe Vera range. Lets start with the scent, its absolutely lovely and leaves your hair smelling fresh without that strange after-smell some products can have.
This range is specifically designed for dry, dehydrated hair, and we all know that moisture is key for healthy hair growth. Using products that deeply hydrate your hair makes such a difference, and this collection really delivers on that.
The shampoo cleanses thoroughly without stripping your hair or leaving it feeling dry, which is a huge win. The conditioner offers a quick yet effective 2-minute deep condition which is perfect for those wash-and-go days when you still want great results without spending too much time.
The leave-in conditioner is super versatile. You can use it as part of your routine after washing or as a refresher to bring your coils back to life between wash days. The curl foaming glaze does an amazing job at defining curls, making it a must-have for a good wash-and-go.
