Morphlite Hiking Sneaker (Women)

The upper on this is to loose, stretchy and wide. I have a wider forefoot but narrow/regular heel mid foot (typically Merrell does my foot shape well). These fit really wide throughout. Due to the uppers stretchiness I can't tie them enough to keep from my toes sliding and jamming against the front downhill. They're neutral colored so I thought they'd be okay walking but toes jamming into the front occurs with walking hills too. I have the matryx which I like this shoe looked like a comparable road shoe to the trail matryx (drop, stack, cushioning) it's not. The matryx laces do their job and my foot stays positioned in the shoe. Morphlite I'm sliding around in even when walking. Attempts to tie these tight enough makes the fabric pull and bubble and still my foot slides because the upper just stretches out more.
