Moab Speed 2 High Top Hiking Shoe (Women)

Great in sand, gravel, uneven terrain, and on slick rock. Good grip, not too heavy, decent ankle support while still being flexible, and kept feet dry when encountering puddles. I sized up a half size in addition to the wide width and I'm glad I did. Took 2 hikes to break in before a bigger backpacking trip.

I purchased my Merrell hikers for work in my flower field. During the winter months, I typically wear boots out there, but for the shoulder seasons & especially summer months, I needed lighter shoes for running around...planting, harvesting, weeding, hauling... I have been breaking these in + absolutely LOVE them so much! They are incredibly comfortable but rugged enough that they can withstand the bumpy terrain. They are light enough that they don't overheat my feet in the heat like boots do + provide great support for the amount of steps I take every day out there. Best decision ever to buy hikers for farm work!

Bought the MOAB Gore Tex for the cold and wet weather mainly for the waterproof feature. I am beyond disappointed in the performance of the shoe after wearing them in light rain. My left foot was completely soaked , squishy socks and all!. The right shoe was also damp at the end of my hike. Apparently the shoes are defective and for the price deserves a REFUND! Especially since Merrell’s are my primary and go to shoes. I have bought many many Merrells and this one purchase was very disappointing
