Great hiking shoes!
My old hiking boots wore out on a recent trip so I purchased the Moab 3. This shoe is so comfortable with padding in all the right places. I purchased this shoe and the higher top version Moab 3, and decided to keep the high top version. I could have easily gone with these but opted for more ankle support. I sized up a half size to allow for thicker hiking socks.

Problem with left shoe
i wore the shoes for 2 weeks, about 10,000 steps a day. Developed a big blister on the outside heel of my left foot. So the shoes are not taking me anywhere. I am very disappointed!

Feet still wet with Gore Tex model
I like the shoes. Toe box is comfortable. I ordered a half size larger than usual.
The only complaint is that they are the Gore Tex model and my feet got somewhat wet while walking my dog during a rainstorm. Merrell also offers a waterproof version but it’s not what I have.

Solid choice for trekking
These fit snug but after some lace adjustment and a couple of walks, they are comfortable. These provide good support, traction and water resistance. And, they look great!
