Didn’t hold up on two-day backpacking trip.

Comfortable, but the plastic binding started to come off the edges after two days. Rained lots on our backpacking trip, and they were not waterproof at all. Wet feet the whole two days. Reached out to Merrell for support and no response. New shoes that have left us rather disappointed.

Fall apart quickly

Bought these in May and they didn't last through July. They fell apart so quickly they were unwearable.

Too small

Seem like nice shoes and my kid likes the look but they run small. Size up.

not water resistant

I bought these because they were supposedly waterproof. After 15 minutes of walking through dewy grass, first time out of the box, the inside of the shoes and my socks were damp. If I had walked any distance my feet would have been soaked. The grass wasn't even high, I had mowed it a couple of days before. The whole point of my having these shoes was to walk my dog around my lawns when the grass was damp. I am puzzled and confused why these are considered waterproof. No puddles, streams, no wear on the shoes, and they could not survive fifteen minutes walking through short dewy grass.
