Love how light, comfy--but no grip
I love the way these look and yes the closure is a bit uncomfortable if you don't wear socks. My biggest complaint is that they lack any sort of grip. It's fine on dry surfaces but I've slipped several times if the floor wasn't completely bone dry. They're slippery on indoor mall floors AND I've slipped on rocks that were a little wet.

My new go to shoe
I needed new beach shoes. I walk in sand and water monitoring marine turtle nests and hatches all summer in Florida and the right shoes are important. These do the job perfectly. They are so light and comfortable. The amazing thing is that I want to wear them all the time, not only on the beach. I get a lot of compliments on how they look, too.
