I finally dumped these shoes in the trash. They were so difficult to put on because of the construction. Merrell is too good a company to put out a pair of shoes like these. I have many pairs of Merrell shoes and I love them, but these are horrible. They actually hurt my feet!

Bad tongue on this design
I bought a pair of these and did not realize that they had changed the tongue of the shoe. As others have said, they are incredibly difficult to get on and do not feel comfortable as the old model. I have several pairs of the original model and love them. I get compliments every time I wear them. The multi color shoes are very popular and look great with shorts and T-shirts. Please produce more colors and fix the tongue back to original design.

Why I can't give five stars
I love the way this shoe looks. I love the way it's incredibly comfortable to wear. I even love the look of the shoelaces! But I really, really hate the way I have to struggle to get my feet into the shoes due to their lack of a proper tongue. It's hard for me to believe that someone approved this horribly uncomfortable design flaw. Did they not try the shoes on themselves before giving their okay?

Not my favorite Merrils
Beautiful color. But they are very hard to put on with the tongue of the shoe attached. You cannot open the shoe enough, causes socks to bunch.
