Great shoes
A beautiful and well made shoe. Very comfortable. Unfortunately they were too narrow in the right foot and I didn’t have time for them to stretch before a upcoming trip, so I returned them. Otherwise, I would have kept and gotten them stretched. Length was true to size.

Not the Mephisto of yesteryear
These shoes held so much promise, a simple yet elegant loafer. Knowing that Mephisto used to use the finest softest leathers with the handmade detail unmatched in most other brands I had no 2nd thoughts about purchasing them. Then came reality; they are not soft, not supportive, not the shoes I thought I'd be thankful that I can afford them. They don't feel like my feet are in heaven....They're clunky, uncomfortable shoes that will take many wearings and potentially many blisters to break in. Not interested. Thanks for taking them back.

Style, Comfort but Not the Right Fit
I really wanted to love this product but could not get the fit right. I usually wear a size 10 US and had originally purchased this; however, my heel kept slipping out when I walked. I could just buy heel grippers, but I wanted something I could wear without the added adjustments. The width was super nice with the size 10 US, and my foot had enough comfortable room with the insoles.I also tried a half-size down with a 9.5 US. The 9.5 US shoe felt a bit narrow in the front and had a snug, tight fit overall with the insole (picture is of the 9.5 US shoe). I could remove the insole, but the highlighting value proposition would have been lost. I also have flat feet for added content. I'll be considering rebuying the size 10, but for now, I hope this review helps someone decide on the shoe.

Sadly returning
I really wanted the pretty blue suede loafers but they slipped off my heels, even with thick sox. And the arch supports weren't in line with my arches making the shoes uncomfortable. Very ill fitting 8.5 for Mephisto.

Lovely color but fit a little oversized and wide.
I really love the look of the shoes. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because of the fit. I think it would be better for people with wider feet. I has to size down and it still slipped because I think it is due to the width. My feet usually fit is medium width shoes but my heels could be a little narrow. They also are a little stiff but I think they should loosen up. I haven’t worn them enough . Even though they slip, I am keeping them because I really like the look and I may wear a sock to make sure I don’t get a blister.

Amazing comfort and Style
I bought this loafer in Boa Black and Peacock Blue since they were on sale. Absolutely love them. The best pair of loafers I own. It has a little extra room at the toes without being wide. The Boa is even prettier than the solid black. All day comfort and the Boa color looks dressy for an evening out.
