The SMELL
These smell absolutely terrible 😫 Like portapotty chemicals mixed with a head shop. They're cute and very comfortable, but if I can't get the smell out then I will have to throw these away. I can't believe I'm the first reviewer to hate this horrible, strong and 100% unneccesary "scent".

Cute but awful plastic smell
I made the mistake to buy these size 7 when I’m 6and half. Unfortunately size 6 ran out and regardless of the weird rubber smell, I. can’t let go because I want to find size 6

Love the idea
This shoe is unlike any I’ve ever owned. It’s extremely lightweight and instantly comfortable. I ordered my usual size 7. The material seems like it will be durable, but in extreme heat, I’m not sure. It’s kind of cute in a clunky, unattractive way, if that makes sense. IMO it looks good with flowy pants, skirts, and wide leg jeans. Ok, the smell. I’m NOT a fan. It didn’t smell like bubblegum AT AlL to me. It smells like patchouli and I don’t like it. If I can get past the smell, I might keep them. But right now, I’m on the fence.

Day and night
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wear this pair of Melissas with jeans, with socks, with dresses, everywhere. I walk a lot and I find them very comfortable. I'm 5ft2, so the extra platform is great. Being 60 years old, they make me feel younger haha! I just go a second pair on sale.

poor quality
after just a few times, wearing them, the clear buckle that holds them together had snapped right off. Good thing I was home otherwise I would’ve been shoeless.
