Long Sleeve Shirtdress

This is a great dress! Versatile - I’ve worn it to work and a nice dinner and I can see myself getting a lot of use out of this dress! It is unlined so it’s on the lighter side but that suits my climate and it is not see-through. The front buttons are functional so it would be nursing friendly. For myself this fits slightly small in the chest so the buttons do pull and I’ll likely sew down that seam. I do have a large chest though, 49 inches. This does a good job of hiding the belly, but is also flowy enough I think it would be bump friendly. My normal size is 18 or 1x, but in this brand Max Studio I always grab the 2x. The fabric doesn’t have any give so if you’re between sizes I’d size up.

If you have a large chest and a large waist, I do not recommend buying this dress. The fit is horrendous. I bought my usual size (2X), but the dress is not very flattering. The sleeves fall too short (or maybe my arms are too long). The top portion of the dress is too tight around my chest, and my stomach sticks out. I don’t know what it is about Max Studio plus-sized clothes, but they are not a great fit for my body. I just can’t recommend this dress for anyone with a rounded shape. I will be returning as soon as I can.
