Knit Shell Top

First the negatives -- the material is not high quality -- it feels like plastic straw, not the high quality "linen" you expect. Also it is not your typical oversized Max Studio top. If you want the "draping" effect, you have to go up a size or two. I am typically an XS in Max Studio. I ordered an XS this time. it is rather fitted, not having the draping effect. Also I have an extremely short torso, and this top is a little short even for me. The positives -- just like other Max Studio, the cut is flattering. I don't know what's the secret, but Max Studio knows how to make a piece of clothing flattering to the body. So despite the negatives, I will order a size or two larger and I will keep it. I think this would be one of the "go to" pieces you throw on under a blazer, a jacket, over jeans, etc. Lastly for your reference -- size XS pit to pit is 16.5, length (from highest point of shoulder to hem) is 20.5 in the front, 21 in the back (it is a little high-lo).
