'Brave' Faux Leather Backpack

I’ve coveted a Matt and Nat for so long and am so disappointed. It scratched immediately and shows. I got caught in a light sprinkle and now there’s pockmarks and stains all within weeks of purchase. I foolishly thought the material would be durable and nothing says otherwise. Purchase only if you never set foot in real life.

I bought this bag for a fall transition for work. I’m disappointed that the side pockets that appear to hold a nice size water bottle doesn’t hold the skinniest reusable bottle. As someone else posted, they’re useless. Will probably return bc with the size I’ll need to carry 3 bags to replace my 1 Herschel.

This backpack is AH-MAZING!! It’s stylish and chic. The only thing I would warn is there is no place to put a laptop inside that is padded which is what they should have made the back pocket into. And the front pocket can only hold keys and or a few cards but it’s still hard to get to if you have the inside full. I thought I would get by and be able to put a small water bottle in the side pocket but NO SIR! That is also only wide enough to hold a cellphone. And be prepared to buy at least two or three pouches to organize the inside. It doesn’t fit a woman’s sweater along with snack and water bottle and books. You’ll have to tie your sweater around your waist. But I get compliments on it all the time and I love how it looks!!!

I own a different style of Matt & Nat backpack and it unfortunately does not fit my MacBook Air with my wallet, phone, etc in the same large pocket. This backpack is professional, petite and fits my Air with the rest of my “purse accessories” and snacks for the kids. The zipper gets a little stuck on the corners. Hoping that will get smoother over time.
