Another Marine Layer bummer!
Loved the fit and look of these pants, but I followed the care instructions when I washed them and they shrunk a TON. This is the 3rd pair of Marine Layer pants that I have had to return due to poor quality.

Flattering for wide legged pants
These pants have an elastic waist. But they do not have a lot of give in the hip area. I had to slide them carefully up an down my hips/butt. That slimness makes the pants hard to get on and off, but it also makes them more fitted once on. This results in a nice silhouette.
