Sleeveless Pleated Midi Dress

There's a reason some things end up at Nordstrom Rack...this is one of them. Got this in both colors because I thought it was cute in the picture. 1. I'm a size 6-8 so not overly curvy...until I put on this dress. The smocking at the waist cinches so tightly that when the pleats resume, they kind of arch out on the sides and just make you look kind of oddly out of proportion...hard to explain, but it's not flattering. 2. There's only a hook at the neck to fasten with a large opening in the back that kind of gaps unless you get the waist settled just right to get it lay flat...and your bra strap will possibly show. Again, just an overall weird fit. 3. It just feels cheap...the fabric is incredibly thin and feels like you're wearing pleated kleenex. So no, just no...they're both going back and I'm sad about that because the way this dress is represented in the pictures makes it look like it's of a higher quality and an entirely different fit.
