run small for Madewell
Madewell is my go to brand. I can always count on a 28 high rise fitting perfect, whether they are jeans or shorts. Unfortunately these run very small. I think if I sized up one size they might work?

they are cute for someone younger
These were cute and fit me well but they are so short. I should have looked at the inseam but they didn’t look short on the model. I’m almost 5’8 and my butt cheeks were hanging out. It’s not a cute look for a 33 year old mom.
