Favorite new "Skinny" jean!
I still prefer "skinny" jeans over a relaxed fit any day so I loved that Madewell made these jeans. It's a modern fit that's still skinny with a good stretch. Great length and wash. Planning to purchase my 2nd pair soon!

Poor Quality
I purchased these jeans a month ago and have only washed them twice. There are holes already starting to form on both sides of the back pockets. I have purchased multiple pairs of Madewell jeans in the past and am very disappointed with the quality of this jean. I unfortunately purchased two pairs and don't expect them to last until the spring.

Exactly a what I Wanted

The best cut in town but maybe too stretchy???
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time pants buyer at Madewell. I’ve been on the hunt for black pants that are just a simple straight leg silhouette with a bit of stretch and found these a few days ago. The cut is PERFECT. They’re way more stretchy than I was going for though and seem to loosen up as I wear them so not sure how I feel about that yet. Maybe should have sized down? They also have a durable sort of feel because the fabric is pretty thick. Overall they are nice and I do like them, but if they start to stretch out too much then I may have a problem. 😬

Surprised me!

I now have several pairs of Madewell jeans and each new pair becomes my favorite. I always feel that they look good when I wear them. The only reason I gave 4 stars is that they are black, and the black fabric is never as soft as they blues.
