Runs big, not curvy friendly
I wanted to love these but even sizing down, there was a gap in the back and I didn’t like the seem detail up and along the back area, looked weird.

I followed the sizing guide, and these were definitely a size too big. I'm 5'3" and 130 pounds. Ususally a 27 in jeans. The 28 was too big in madewell sizing, but I could wear these all day. So comfortable and I got so many compliments even if they were a bit big. Keeping these and love them.

Way too baggy!
I know the jeans are described as barreled but they were so baggy. They almost looked like gaucho pants. Returning but I still love madewell.
