I followed the sizing guide, and these were definitely a size too big. I'm 5'3" and 130 pounds. Ususally a 27 in jeans. The 28 was too big in madewell sizing, but I could wear these all day. So comfortable and I got so many compliments even if they were a bit big. Keeping these and love them.

These jeans are very comfortable. They have a cute baggy look to them and hit perfectly at the ankles. They fit true to size but if you don't want the baggy look then size down
