Stripe Empire Waist Midi Sundress

This is a cute dress. I’m not sure it’s worth the price, but it’s quite flattering and versatile. The linen is a substantial weight, not bulky or heavy, but holds its shapes and moves well. The skirt has the perfect amount of flutter cut into the A line and the pockets skim over the hips without adding bulk. The empire bodice is tight but not uncomfortable, it acts like a shelf bra and holds everything in surprisingly well (I’m a D cup). It’s surprisingly long… I am 5’10” and it hits me 4” above the ankle. My two criticisms are that the center seam on the front of the dress is not centered, it’s a half inch to the left, which is noticeable up close. And also the top is too sheer for the girls, but the low square neckline doesn’t accommodate most bras (which would have to be strapless). Nude pasties would have to be involved, or an extra panel sewn in. Overall it’s a cute dress but a bit fussy. You have to be willing to do a bit of problem solving.
