FINALLY! A non-skinny jean that works for my body
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Madewell skinnies used to be my go-to, but in an effort to avoid looking my age (40) I've been exploring other styles. Madewell has failed me the last three years and I finally got a couple of pairs at another store that were ok, but I didn't LOVE, you know?
This - this right here, is the perfect cut. Not too wide, not too slim.
I tried another pair in a stovepipe fit but they were soooo stretchy. I like the cotton content of this pair, and am anxiously awaiting other jeans in this cut and fabric but different washes.

They will rip!!!!!!
I have 2 pairs of these jeans. Size 25 & 26. My absolute favorite jeans!!!! Until the butt rips out!!! The first pair lasted 3 months and the butt ripped along the back pocket. Then my second pair ripped in the same spot just over a month in. Clearly this is a quality issue. Do not buy even though look amazing on. I owned them too long & wore them so I could not get my money back đ

Nice, but def very little to no stretch
I bought these for work and love them. Theyâre not too tight but fitted enough to feel sexy. I bought these stovepipe and also the Auraria wash. The auraria was has way more stretch and I even went down a size. These have no stretch and I ended up ripping them at the side seam, which wasnât really noticeable, but then one day as I es leaving for work I bend over to say goodbye to my dog and they ripped in the butt. Glad this happened t home.
I like these enough that Iâd buy another pair, but knowing I canât be bending over. Haha.

Very casual, nothing special
I found these jeans to just be so-so. They fit fine, (for reference I am 5'8 and 140 lbs. with a straight figure), and purchased a 28. There was simply nothing outstanding about them. They just sort of hung blah. They look much better in the photos than in person. Far more casual than the look I wanted.

Nice quality demin
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm trying to expand my jean horizons beyond skinny jeans and have tried a few different pairs of stovepipe jeans from Madewell. These are a nice rigid denim with just the right amount of strech. I don't like overly stretchy jeans that feel more like jeggings, so these were great. I got my regular size and they fit tight, but thinking they may stretch out after wear.

Stretch??
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Stovepipe jeans, definitely one of my favorite styles from Madewell. My other Stovepipe jeans are stretchy and extremely comfortable. However, the pair that I received are extremely rigid. I should've sized up if I had known. Still love the pants regardless and force myself to wear them!
