Shirred Floral Mini Shirtdress

I had my eye on this one for a while and finally decided to give it a try….The fabric and print were great but my 5’4” athletic frame was completely lost in the length and overall design of the dress. For it to fit my chest I had to order the large (I am usually between a medium or a large in dresses) I did consider having the length altered and if I wore dresses regularly I probably would have kept it and done that. When I wear a dress it’s typically an “occasion” of sorts so I want to be the “right” dress for me. I ended up returning this one for a Farm Rio dress that worked much better for me.

I’m 5’8 and the length is perfect, this is an incredibly flattering dress. It fits a 36D and works well on a 55 year old. Definitely my new favorite! It has pockets, it’s comfortable, and it snatches the waist in. Looks amazing with boots, add tights for fall/winter, would be cute with gladiator sandals in the summer. If there were more colors/patterns I’d buy them all!

This is the perfect dress for fall. The midsection is so flattering and very comfortable as it’s all elastic.. I got a size medium, which I normally wear. I may have been able to go down the size so I would say maybe it runs a little big but not a lot. And it has pockets!! I’m going to style with knee-high boots.
