Much shorter than expected
I am 5'3 and curvy, so ordered my usual Madewell bottoms size 14 (I am an Aussie 14/16) and was so incredibly disappointed to receive a skirt that sat knee-length on me! I have the skirt sitting mid-waist (and I am short-waisted!) and the skirt hit at the bottom of my knee. Coupled with the slit, it was the most unflattering bias cut satin skirt I have ever owned. The colour is great but the length is mis-represented on the model. I do not know how she can be 5'11 (or tall in any capacity!) and have it hit mid-calf. So so disappointed!

Great slip skirt!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this before the Christmas holidays and loved that I could wear it to a dressier event and to a more casual one. It fits nicely – I like the flat waistband and it runs true to size. Love the brown color.

Gorgeous skirt

She is 5’8” and wears the skirt with knee boots. The cost per wear on this skirt will be excellent as it can be mixed and matched with so many things all year long.

Gorgeous and well made

Beautiful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This skirt is just gorgeous! I can wear with sneakers, flats or heels. I got my usual 6, but it's a little loose. I'm ok w that because i don't like clothes too tight fitting anyway. I can't wait to wear this for all seasons!

Underwhelmed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This skirt is exactly as described yet not what I expected. Maybe it’s the spilt on one side? I think if there was one back split or two side splits I’d like it better. Also, I think the waist band should be thinker. The blue color is lovely and I do like the crinkly texture.
